Unlike the G502 the Basilisk's right clicker touches the mouse instead of hovering above it so when you press down it feels a lot less responsive, almost like when you click on a trackpad. As you can see the right clicker is oddly shaped which I assume is due to the concave shape where you place your fingers. It's kind of hard to explain and I'm no tech guru so I don't know the specifics when it comes to mouse architect so here's a pic of the clicker design for the Basilisk. Like I said I don't know how Razer released this mouse simply due to the fact that the right click barely feels like you clicked at all. The left click isn't terrible but it's extremely soft and less noticeable which makes it feel like I'm not even clicking half the time whereas on the G502 I know when I'm clicking since the button goes further down and is more responsive on the way back up so clicking/double-clicking feels faster on the G502. I really don't know how Razer decided that they'd release a mouse with such shitty clicks especially since left & right clicking is what mice are primarily used for. The First problem I found was that the left and right click buttons are terrible on the Basilisk.

If you didn't already know the Basilisk is basically Razer's version of the G502 and came out prior to the G502's release. Let me start this by saying it was a waste of $60. I couldn't leave the store without a replacement so I tried the other mice they had available and ended up going with the Razer Basilisk since it seemed closest to the G502. I went to Best Buy the following day expecting to replace it with another G502 since it was the perfect fit for my grip but they said that all the G502's were out of stock. I needed to use my computer to get work done so I was in desperate need of replacing it as soon as possible. So I accidentally broke my G502 Proteus Spectrum the other day by spilling ramen noodles on it (I've had it for 3-4 years).
